Yes. Emergencies occur when you least expect them. Rest assured, we’re here for you. If you have never visited our clinic and experience an emergency during office hours, please call us immediately at 01625 424 808, to be seen as soon as possible. After office hours, patients of record can call our main phone to access the after-hours emergency number. If you are bleeding or expect a broken bone, we insist that you seek care at the A&E of your nearest hospital.

Q: What types of dental implants does Dr. Murray-Curtis offer?

At Silk Dental Care, you’ll have access to a wide range of dental implant options.

Q: Will Dr. Murray-Curtis treat my children and parents?

Absolutely. Silk Dental Care serves patients of all ages. We see children as young as two years of age and are proud to serve many generations of patients.

Q: What are digital X-rays?

Digital X-rays, or radiographs, are a modern way of capturing detailed images of structures that lie beneath the surface of the mouth and teeth. Traditional X-rays subject patients to about 90% more radiation than digital X-rays. In addition, this contemporary radiography supplies us with immediate access to images, so treatment planning occurs promptly and is based on known factors, rather than unknown. Digital X-rays require no harsh chemicals or plastic panels, so they’re environmentally friendly.
For your safety, convenience, and the health of our planet, digital X-rays are a wonderful innovation.

Q: Is financing available?

Our practice is fee for service, and we accept NHS. For financing, we accept most major credit cards or recommend that you contact your bank for private financing. While high-interest loans are not the most desirable, we can direct you to some patient financing companies upon request.
Before administering any procedure, we’ll provide you with a full assessment of estimated dental treatment costs.
